Selecting only one film from each State, “States of the Art” will level the playing film for filmmakers and give the audience a unique film-going experience that will allow them to view life in all fifty states during the three-day festival, August 17-19.

“I wanted to create a film festival like no other film festival, one that has the best interest of the filmmakers in mind,” says co-founder Justin Escue, of My First Bike Productions.

Co-Founder Gary Wood, of WoodWorks Films, adds, “At the same time, we were looking for that unique hook that would get us some national attention. There are thousands of film festivals out there and we needed to set ourselves apart.”

The 48 Hour Film Project i smaking it's first stop in Indianapolis on June 22nd-24th. It's the event that takes the art of filmmaking and adding a festival-like atmosphere. You form your teams, and then on Friday the 22nd, you'll be given a random genre, a character, a prop and a line of dialogue. These three elements need to be put into your film. Then you are released at 7:00pm to write-shoot and edit your film by Sunday night. Then all film will be strung together to premiere for the public at the Key Cinemas on June 26th-27th.

The three men each have their own relationship and trust issues while Sara just struggles to find the right gentleman. The four begrudgingly agree to Sara's pact that each have a date for a dinner party that is to happen at the end of the week.

Someone For Everyone is Pengin Producutions second (and final?) feature length comedy. Those familiar with the film group's previous efforts, Hearts It Is, and the Big Ass Phantom parodies, will find this film to be a great addition to the Pengin universe.
